Lauren South is a singer and multi-instrumentalist whose self-penned and traditional songs have gained her a big reputation as one of Warwickshire’s finest up and coming folk musicians. Tenor guitar, fiddle and shruti box provide backing for songs full of emotion and imagery, inspired by Lauren’s love of the night sky, nature and motherhood. Most people in this area will also remember her for her appearances with the trio Greengrass Recently Lauren has performed at festivals including Bromyard, Warwick, Bunkfest, Gate to Southwell and Chippenham, as well as venues including the Red Lion Folk Club, The Woodman Folk Club, Temperance Leamington, Oxford Music&Folk and Huntingdon Hall supporting Reg Meuross.
